A lesson I’ve learned from trying out crypto products is that the useful ones usually don’t need much explaining. You use them once or twice, they fit your routine, and then you just keep using them.
That’s exactly where I’m at with the Ether.Fi Gold Card, which is why it’s so awesome to partner with Ether.Fi.

For me, the test for any crypto card is whether it works outside the crypto bubble. Can I use it when I’m travelling? For daily purchases? Does it connect it to Apple Pay or Google Pay? Can I get a physical card? Basically, does it work smoothly like any regular bank card?
With Ether.Fi, I can say yes.
I’m using an Ether.Fi Gold Card, it connects back to my Ether.Fi Vault, and it links my crypto holdings with my real-world spending habits.
How It Works
If I want a simple setup, I can use Direct Pay and spend from stablecoins in my Vault balance. That’s the debit card-style option.
If I want to spend against any crypto asset in my Vault, without selling any assets, I can use Borrow Mode instead. That utilizes my Vault’s crypto collateral, at a 4% Borrow APY. This is the credit option.
Having both modes is a major plus point, as crypto holders don’t always want to sell just because they need liquidity, while for daily life, a simple debit facility works best.
This in itself is reason to hold the card, but take a look through this list of other perks too:
You can get 2 - 3% cashback in USDC, and soon you’ll be able to get cashback in other assets too, such as in ETH, BTC, HYPE, and more.
Do you travel a lot? If so, take advantage of:
Up to 60% discounts on luxury hotels, plus you can get 5% cashback on hotel and flight bookings.
Zero FX rates on USD and EUR, and just 1% on other currencies globally.
Cross-border money transfers with low fees in USD, EUR, GBP, BRL, and many other currencies.
Keep in mind here that we’re focused on the card, but it’s part of a broader crypto and finance app, which means there are:
Tokenized gold and tokenized stocks coming soon.
Regular promotions and campaigns offering rewards for active users, plus affiliate and referral programs that let you earn rewards.
So, the TLDR is this: I use the Ether.Fi Gold Card because it’s practical, but there’s also a long list of valuable perks. It’s a lot of utility from one card, so if you want to try it–and it’s very easy to set up–then visit Ether.Fi, start your membership, and create your card.
